Congratulation message of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir addressed to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, on the 8th anniversary of the patriarchal enthronization

Your Holiness,

On the 8^th anniversary of the patriarchal enthronization of Your Holiness, we are addressing to You our most sincere congratulations and wishes that God help You in the ministry of pasturing the clergy and the laity of the Russian Orthodox Church.

This day is a good occasion to give glory to God, thanking Him for the rich and evident accomplishments of Your Holiness within these eight years.

We can’t help seeing the pastoral and spiritual abundance that has been accompanying You in the ministry, while giving consolation and courage, spiritual food and sense of life, grace and blessing to thousands and hundreds of thousands of spiritual sons and daughters.

We ascertain You of our complete gratitude, appreciation and love. We pray to our Lord Jesus Christ, The Good Sheppard (John 10, 11) and High Priest of our profession (Hebr. 3,1), to grand His help to You in Your ministry, so important and full of responsibility, in the supreme ecclesiastical position of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, and in the guidance on the way to salvation of the faithful flock entrusted to You.
