Spiritual joy in the Risen Christ! The second day of the Bright Week at the Metropolitan Cathedral

Numerous Christians gathered in the Metropolitan Cathedral in the centre of Chisinau on the second day of the Feast of Holy Pascha, to share the great joy of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ with the Archpastor and the bishops of the Moldovan Orthodox Church, as well as monks superior and district deans of Chisinau Diocese, and the Cathedral clergy.

In the atmosphere of utmost spiritual joy, the Archpastor, the clergy, and the parishioners gathered around the Holy Table, chanting the Paschal Troparion “Christ is Risen”, thanking the Lord for the grace and mercy poured abundantly on to the faithful flock.

The Divine Liturgy ended with a Cross procession around the Cathedral, Gospel readings, and Thanks-Giving prayer.

Metropolitan Vladimir congratulated the believers on this Feast of feasts and Holy Day of holy days, impressed by the big number of Christians gathered in prayer, despite of intense church services and physical exhaustion.

Archbishop Sava of Tiraspol and Dubasari congratulated the Metropolitan and the entire Orthodox community of our country, on behalf of the episcopate of the Moldovan Church, wishing long live, protected from danger and temptations, as well as steadiness and strength in the ministry within the Orthodox Church of Moldova.

Archpriest Vadim Cheibas, Metropolitan Secretary and Cathedral Dean, expressed gratitude to the Metropolitan for the archpastoral care, thanking also to all clergy for the faithful ministry, wishing them long live and joy in the Resurrection of Christ.
